I bought the conveyor from Steve in 2018. I use it for pretty much all my sheep work. Most of the time I'm working on my own with Huntaway dogs. Before I purchased the conveyor, my knee used to ache after working with sheep through a sheep race, so I had to wear a knee supports. That made me look for something that would take the physicality out of manhandling the sheep and take the pressure off my body. It certainly does that! I use the conveyor for drenching, vaccinating, bolusing, applying fly protection, foot trimming, tailing, tagging, pitch marking, trimming necks on sale sheep, and washing their faces.

I am extremely pleased with the sheep conveyor. I have had it for about a year and a half, but hired one for a couple of years before that. Brilliant for drenching and injecting. We also use it for dipping and filling the shearing trailer. Would totally recommend it to anyone. Also, Steve’s back-up service is brilliant.

I bought the conveyor in early 2025, mainly on the principle that it was going to make life easier and enable us to be more efficient on a time scale. Doing the sheep now using the conveyor is a lot less strenuous on my body - mainly my knees - and less stressful for the sheep, and therefore it’s a win-win situation. It’s very easy to use, and setting it up is easy.

I first saw Steve’s sheep conveyor on display at Northsheep in Northumberland in 2023, when I went with my neighbour.
His conveyor impressed me so much that day that I got in touch with him and took delivery of one, along with the petrol power pack.
I now use it for all routine treatments of my ewes and wouldn’t dream of going back to wrestling in a drenching race.
My kids are happy to help out, and I now also do a bit of contracting with it as well - for routine medication purposes and also for filling sheep dippers.
Steve is always available to take a call should I have any queries, and I’m delighted with mine. I would recommend one to anyone wanting an easier way to work with their flock!
